OUR INTEGRATED MUSICAL THEATRE PROGRAMME

Under the tutelage of award-winning Musical Theatre performer & Programme Leader, Mina Kaye, together with Joanne Ho (Music Director) & Seong Hui Xuan (Choreographer), this year-long Musical Theatre training programme will nurture you to become a triple threat performer and prepare you to perform professionally.

Step 1: Acquire specialized skills in Acting through Song

  • Dive deep into script analysis
  • Understand and learn about subtext, characterisation,
    situation and conflict
  • Learn various acting techniques and hone these skills
    in group scene work
  • Apply all these skills in a song and scene presentation

Step 2: Acquire specialized techniques in Music & Dance

  • Learn advanced music theory, sight-singing skills
    and voice techniques
  • Learn ballet and jazz techniques
  • Build your stamina and develop coordination required
    to sing, act and dance concurrently
  • Integrate these skills into a song and dance presentation

Step 3: Become a trained multifaceted Musical Theatre Performer

  • Learn how to stand out in your performance
  • Develop a sense of musicality, performance skills and confidence

The main outcome is to equip you to become a multifaceted musical theatre performer ready for both the Singapore and international stage.


This term will equip you with the intermediate skills of Acting, Voice and Script Analysis, establishing the groundwork and understanding of what constitutes a reliable approach to acting.

  • Stanislavski, Meisner & Strasberg methods of acting

End of Term Presentation: Songs & Scenes


This term will equip you with the intermediate skills of Music & Dance, empowering you to explore your own individual vocal instrument, musicality, body and physicality through songs and dance routines.

  • Ballet & Jazz techniques
  • Vocal & Choreography Sessions
  • Integration of Song & Dance

End of Term Presentation: Scenes with Songs & Dance

This final term will culminate into a Cabaret Showcase integrating your triple threat skills acquired in the previous terms. As a class, you will tap into your own distinct view of the world and work with your fellow performers to develop a live Cabaret performance.

  • Integration of skills acquired in the Acting, Music & Dance modules

End of Term Graduation: Cabaret Showcase

  • How to package and market yourself as a performer

  • How to build a following and create regular content on social media
  • How to secure funding and sponsorship for your self-produced works

A professional dance studio with dance flooring, mirrors and keyboard.

Training venue will be announced before programme commencement.

Programme Fees:
$400/mth (9 mths total)
Fees are collected in 3 payment cycles

1st payment ($1,200): End of Dec 2022
2nd payment ($1,200): End of Mar 2023
3rd payment ($1,200): End of Jun 2023
