Synopsis
This unique never been done before presentation includes 2 parts – Part 1: The Rehearsal and Part 2: The Play.
A play within a play, students will experience a re-enactment of a rehearsal process that frames Desmond Sims Perfecting Pratas as a narrative preamble.
Part 1: The Rehearsal will take students through the processes of putting up a play, which include actors prep work and directing and design choices.
This behind the scenes play within a play is an educational and informative experience to help students understand drama as a form and discipline, and help them to gain a deeper appreciation for Perfecting Pratas as a play as well as a drama medium.
